So I moved into a new apartment a few weeks ago and wired up my pc to the internet. Up until yesterday everything was fine and I was getting around 70 mbps, which is perfectly fine for me. This morning I woke up and there was a yellow exclamation point next to my network status. When selected it says "Network 7" and underneath "No internet access." I thought it might be maintenance, but I plugged the cable into my laptop and it's working fine. I disabled my desktop's firewall, flushed the DNS, tried disabling IPv6, updated drivers, did virus scans with 3 programs, and a number of other things with no change in status. The adapter is a Realtek rtl8168d/8111d built into my mobo. Any thoughts? Is this software blocking my internet or hardware failure?
