Hello,

The LED on the ethernet LAN remains on even when the PC is off. How do I turn it off?

TUF B360-PLUS GAMING, Win10X64.
Intel® I219V, 1 x Gigabit LAN Controller(s) RJ45.

It's the top (or left if the board is horizontal) ACT/LINK LED that stays orange. Sometimes it blinks.

I disabled some features from the network controller in device manager, but it's still on. In the bios I can't find a wake on lan feature.

Thank you.

If there is no option to turn off WoL in BIOS, then the LAN controller is probably hard-wired to 5VSB and the only way to force the controller off once it has been enabled by drivers is to hard-off the PSU until 5VSB dies so the controller goes into uninitialized state when the PSU is turned back on.

Thank drivers not turning hardware off during normal shutdown for this.

Generally this is normal behavior to allow for Wake on LAN packets to be received by the PC. Most likely there is a setting in BIOS, such as "Power on by NIC" or "Power on by PCI", for exact location of the setting and how to change it, check what version of EUFI (BIOS) you have and then google the manual for it.
