Hi,
I wonder if anyone can point out what's gone wrong.
I've had some building work completed recently and the builders installed ethernet cabling.
I have a router plugged into the ethernet socket in the wall...this socket is then linked by ethernet cable to another socket...I then have that ethernet socket linked to computer.
I've tested the cable in the wall using an rj45 cable tester and it works. I've also tested both cables from and to the router/computer directly and these both work.
However when I plug in as above the computer fails to connect.
Does anyone have an idea?
Thanks,
Gareth
