Ethernet Not working properly. Infuriating

I moved to a new apartment and the wifi is not so good so I decided to use an Ethernet cable. While it works sometimes, I often have to take it out and put it back in.

Most of the time it just says unidentified network but if I fiddle around with it for a few minuets I can get it to work.

Is there something I can do to fix this?
I have Windows 10, and a decent computer.
The Ethernet says "local connection" even when it is connected to the internet. And it is labeled Killer e2200 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet.

Cables which work with one computer sometimes don't work with another. Try a different cable.

Use compressed air to blast any dirt or dust out of the ethernet ports on both your computer and the router/switch.

Are you sure you have only one router? Is it possible someone else has plugged a second router into your network? If you do that, you end up with two DHCP servers, which can cause the symptoms you describe. As an experiment, turn off WiFi and unplug everything from the router except your computer. Use it that way for a day or so and see if the problem mysteriously vanishes. If so, you probably have two DHCP servers. Additional routers you plug into the network (e.g. to act as a second WiFi hotspot) need to have their DHCP servers disabled.

I have two routers but they are in the basement which is locked (by the landlord). No one in the house but me seems to have any problems. Will disabling the DHCP server mess with anything or anyone?

ALSO my computer says it cannot reach my default gateway and that neither the IPv4 and IPv6 are connected.

I am pretty sure that it is my computer, since my roommates are fine
