Ethernet-only device. Could I rebroadcast the signal?

Okay guys, interesting question for you today. I have an Ethernet-only device (for those curious, an AntMiner C1), and am ditching my traditional WiFi service in favor of a phone hotspot. Is there any way I could use an old laptop and rebroadcast that WiFi signal to Ethernet out?

Under Windows 8/8.1 you can create a virtual access point using the wifi connection and connect back via ethernet.
