Hello everyone, I won some networking equipment at a local auction for $10 but don't know how to use it necessarily.

I have a Actelis MetaLIGHT 58N and a Anda EtherReach 2108

I'm needing help on how to wire units up, if each would work together, or if I need to purchase other equipment.

I bid because I kinda have an idea what it does, Ethernet over copper pairs right? Well, I made the purchase for a project; connecting my home to my parents home. We live on the same road, however their home is about 3 miles down from me out in the "Country". Wireless links are not an option due to rock bluffs and massive forest. Both homes have AT&T Phone service but neither have DSL or Uverse available nor cellphone reception GSM nor CDMA. And satellite internet is expensive, laggy, stupid and unreliable. My Home is the last house on our road that the local cable company services internet to, and i'm interested in maybe subscribing to AT&T for a dry pair to connect my parents home to my home for internet access or run my own line if completely necessary. I do have 18x 1000ft of shielded cat5e 23awg Ethernet...

Not interested in spending over $100 more on this project.

Solution
I think you need one on each end to make that work, and I assume they would have to be identical. EtherReach seems to be a phone line based system T1 style, so you would need many phone lines between your and your parents.

Actelis device shows more promise, but I don't think the specs will allow for a 3 mile range. And the losses involved with stringing CAT5e cables together every 1000ft would probably kill any connection type.

A solution I know works from a friend who did it was line of sight cellular. Basically got a pair of used Verizon antennae, secured the appropriate operators licenses, and used that to share internet between two homes. (Probably a violation of the terms of service for almost any ISP I would suspect in any case)
Ethernet has a distance limitation of 100 meters. You would need fiber to connect over that distance on a wired connection. If you had line of sight, you could have used high-gain antennas and whatnot to connect wirelessly but it sounds like that's not an option for you.

I don't think doing what you want will be possible, at least not on the cheap.
