Ethernet Plugged In, but no Connection

I just built a PC, checked the BIOS settings, Windows installed properly, and started up perfect. I look at my internet, expecting it to have automatically connected from the Ethernet cable hooked up to it, and it says that there are no available networks. When I click "Change adapter options" it pulls up a folder showing my internet connections and it's completely empty. I've seen other people's folders and it usually shows one or two options (Wired or wireless). What's up with this? My PS4 is also hooked up to the Ethernet and it works perfectly fine. So I know it's not my modem or anything wrong with my actual internet. Any suggestions as to how to simply get my computer to detect the Ethernet?

I actually think I didn't... Since I don't have internet connection on the new PC would I use the disc that came with the MoBo?

Let me install a CD drive real quick and then download the drivers and stuff and see if that does it. It should, considering that I hadn't done it yet lol. Thanks
