Hello,
I have bought a docking station HP USB-C G4 and connected it to my HP Probook 430 G5 laptop. Everything works except for the Ethernet port. When I plug my ethernet cable into it, it says "Identifying" in the lower right corner of the start menu (I see the picture of a PC with ethernet cable with a exclamation mark), and then shows me that internet connection is not available.
What I tried:
1) Shutting off thunderbolt security in BIOS - I can't find it there. Under advanced -> ports, there is no mention of thunderbolt
2) Updating all drivers - no change.
3) HP security manager - didnt find anything there.
It seems that the ethernet connects to "Realtek USB GbE Family Controller", which is updated to the latest version (28.03.2019). Devmgmt shows no problems there.
Any ideas?
