Ethernet Port Not Working After Storm

Last night I was on my desktop during a thunder storm, suddenly a lightning strike hit very loudly near where I live and a few seconds later my internet went out.

I thought it was just due to my modem, but today after it got fixed, I went on my desktop.

Although one other PC in the house using ethernet works, and my wifi works, the ethernet on my desktop does not work.

When I go to troubleshoot, it says "The Ethernet Adapter is not working properly".

I have already tried multiple times to reinstall drivers, disabling and reenabling my ethernet port in BIOS, and even trying different cables.

My Ethernet Adapter is built into my motherboard.

The port stays a solid orange color whether I have an Ethernet cable plugged in or not, while my modem shows no color for either.

When I go to Device Manager, the network adapter is still shown, and the driver says it is working properly.

I was wondering if this all means that my Ethernet port is dead and that I should buy a new ethernet adapter.

Thank you for any assistance given to me!
