Hello, I have a Asus tuf X-570 pro (Wi-Fi) and I had done some installations yesterday. When I went to plug in the Ethernet cable I know a pin was bent pretty good however I booted up and it showed it was connected. I did a speed test and all worked out. I am just wondering if it would be safer to buy a new one to prevent future connection issues.

Solution
If it has problems later, you can always buy a new one later. No sense in doing it while it's working. Even if it stopped working in the future, there's also the possibility of just buying a PCIE ethernet adapter.
... buy a new one to prevent future connection issues.

My opinion is no....even if it should have issues later.

Reason being you can pick up Gbit ethernet cards for a song that plug into any open PCie slot. Much, much easier than replacing an entire motherboard.

But not only that, bent pins in the RJ45 socket can usually be bent back into place easily enough. They're really built very rugged that way and in fact just plugging in the cable probably 'fixed' it. They're designed for being kicked around a typical office environment after all.
