hi guys i have somewhat of a weird case possibly. My Ethernet port I believe will work for like long time, cable is fine, cble modem is fine as well tested it already. But it seems like the 12th or 15th day of computer being on it always goes out on me? And as soon as i reboot the computer it works? It is really bizarre if you ask me.

I leave my laptop on all the time with a once a week 8 hour off kind of a cycle. But this annoyance of Ethernet issue is getting a little annoying. I work from home so I really can not have this issue.

But why is it happening every 12th or 15th day it just goes out?

ISP's typically lease you an IP address which expires every so often. This allows then to charge you extra should you need a dedicated IP address, like if you were hosting a website. If you look in your routers settings you will see when the lease will will expire.
