Ethernet setup on Windows 10

Hi i'm on Windows 10.
The problem is i have two ethernet connections but one adapter.
One of the connection is cable(alliance broadband) which uses static ip.
Other one is of BSNL(ISP) which automatically gets ip address(DHCP).

So when i want to use connection1 i have to change the ipv4 properties again and again.
So i want to know, can i add another configuration(Network 2 for example) which one will be dhcp so that when i connect that one i'll just switch to network 2 as default?
Please help me on this.
Oh if you are wondering about os. i am totally compatible with 10 so just tell me how to do it in 7 or 8 and i'll figure out in 10.

It should work 'just as well' if you set the main to dynamic, and enter the static as the alternative... it should detect whichever it is getting traffic from...and use it.. should all happen in split seconds. I never notice any slowdown when connecting in this way.. it just seems to work like it should!
Go into the IPv4 settings... leave main connection on dhcp - then on Advanced (bottom right) enter the alternative ip address and maybe gateway infromation there too if you have it, oh and DNS etc.

This will save a second config for your connection. When one is present.. it will log onto that.. when it is unreachable, it will try the second config... provided the info is correct, it will switch automatically to whatever network it detects as available.

What if i want the main to be static? can i do that?:??:

oh ok.
I guess i'll have to go with that.
Actually i use the static one more often. so i'll keep that as the primary and change it to dynamic when i connect that one. Thanks though.
