I tried to overclock my cpu to 4.2Ghz with a Voltage of 1.200 I got a blue screen so I switched back to default settings. After I restarted my PC it took almost a minute to connect with the Ethernet (usually it's instantly connected after start).
I then went on with little steps 3.8 Ghz, 4.0 Ghz atleast no bluescreens but it takes long to connect with the Ethernet(except that it works just fine). PC Specs:
i5-4670K,
gigabyte gtx 1070ti (yes I know the cpu and the gpu don't add up that well),
MSI Z87M Gaming Mainboard,
be quiet! Pure Power 10 600 Watt CM ATX V2.4

Does your motherboard have the latest bios version installed?

Did you do a hard reset on the motherboard bios after the initial failed overclock? If not, I'd do that before moving on. Sounds like something is borked in the configuration. Might also want to make sure that you have all the latest motherboard drivers installed including audio, chipset, storage controllers AND network adapter.

Short of trying to overclock using the BCLK bus, changing the CPU frequency shouldn't have any effect on the network adapter. It might only be coincidental, and you might actually just be seeing early signs of a motherboard problem.

It seem to be working on it's on now (I didn't do anything) but I will do a hard reset and check the drivers. But thanks for the tips! I will try to follow them!
