Question Ethernet speed slower than wifi

In my pc i get slower download speed than my phone downloading via wifi. And it is considerably slower. And i am sure it’s not about bad cables or damaged ports because when i call my provider and they restart my router from their end it is back to normal for some time and back to the slow internet again after 2/3 days and in some cases hours. This is getting so annoying. Please help!

Network adaptor ?? drivers are on latest version ?? PC spec ??

Since restarting the router fixes the problem I'd be looking at replacing it, preferably with a different make/model.
