[SOLVED] Ethernet status

I checked my Ethernet status and it said

• Speed: 1.0 gbps
• Sent: 2 billion +
• Received: 11 billion +

My question is that Sent and Received numbers important or not? Higher numbers means good result? Please help me out. Thank you!

It means nothing really if you do not know what time frame it is collected over. It just shows you have been transferring data over the ethernet cable.

Means ZERO.

Most people care about INTERNET SPEED, not port speed.
Most people care about packets loss.
Most people care about latency.
