Ethernet Stopped Working Even Though Plugged In.

I woke up this morning with a fresh install of windows but when I turned on my computer I noticed my ethernet was not working but still plugged in. This confused me as the day before my ethernet was working fine. I reinstalled all previous drivers but still no fix.

Is it just your computer? If so, it is likely something with the cable, your computer, or your router. First thing to try is another cable. Then try rebooting your router. Let us know what you find out.

the cable is also not lit up if that means anything

I assume you are talking the lights on the port. That would point toward a physical problem. Try another cable.
