I've been using the same ethernet cable and port for a few months now - the cable is a long-ish one from ebay, and the port is the motherboard port on my ASRock B450M Steel Legend. I've updated all the relevant drivers, but nothing seems to be working. This morning everything was working fine when I turned the PC off, but 12 hours later it just says "Unidentified Network, No Internet Access".

When I type ipconfig/all, I see the following:

Ethernet adapter Ethernet:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller
Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 70-85-C2-DD-BC-AE
DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes
Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes
Autoconfiguration IPv4 Address. . : 169.254.102.180(Preferred)
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.0.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :
NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : Enabled

The light on my mobo ethernet port is green at the bottom and flashing orange at the top (two LEDs for some reason) and the one on the router is solid green. The lights do turn off when the cable is unplugged. Any advice is greatly appreciated, I've run out of ideas :(

Fixed - unplugged cable at both ends, restarted router and plugged cable back in again. Still not sure what was actually wrong though.
