I’m asking on behalf of my friend and we’re chatting through a screen so please bear with me that I don’t have certain information immediately available.
His adaptor icon on the bottom right says “identifying...” and eventually says he has no internet connection, and “cannot verify IP”
Here’s what I do know and what he’s tried:

His adaptor icon on the bottom right says “identifying...” and eventually says he has no internet connection, and “cannot verify IP”
Here’s what I do know and what he’s tried:
- IP config/release/renew + dns flush
- Disabled and enabled drivers, both PC and router reboots.
- He’s tried to hook the router to his Nintendo Switch via Ethernet. Same issue on Switch (perhaps not a local-to-PC/motherboard problem?)
- Assigned IP addresses, changed around from static/dynamic/dhcp.
