Can any please help me getting the drivers for Ethernet to USB adapter.
I use Apple MBP with Retina. Are there any drivers in common for both Mac OS X and Windows 8 (which I had via Bootcamp)...
I ask for a common drivers for a range of various products because the Enter Adapter I use has got some useless drivers for it

Sorry to say this dear, bt I already mentioned that the drivers they have provided are useless for me b'coz I use OS X 10.8.3 and Win 8.

Sorry to say this dear, but you don't really expect "common HARDWARE SPECIFIC drivers for a range of various products"? And I very much doupt that the win7 driver doesn't work with win8.

After pouring through the files provided for download from the Enter support site it appears that the chipset used in their only USB to Ethernet adapter listed is a DAVICOM Semiconductor DM9601 USB to Fast Ethernet Adapter. Search of DAVICOM’s site does not yield any newer drivers, but you may want to try the drivers they provide directly from their site. Technically, the newest drivers on their site for the DM9601 are for Windows XP, but it may be worth trying the Windows 7 drivers provided for the DM9620/D9621 as well.

Other than that, both DAVICOM and Enter do not list support for Windows 8. They also do not appear to support 64 bit. If your system is 64 bit, it is possible the drivers would function in 32 bit Windows 8.

If the device appears to be incompatible, please feel free to report back here and to leave feedback at the Windows Compatibility Center in order to help others who may also be attempting to use the same device with Windows 8.
