Question Ethernet to USB cable for APC UPS

I have an APC UPS that uses an Ethernet jack on it to go to a USB on a computer to run its software. I've lost the cable. Will any Ethernet to USB cable/adapter work, or are these specific to APC?

I think you can find pin outs online -- http://pinout.net/Connector-Wiring/500/APC USB cable AP9827 So you could try it. Or you could buy a genuine APC cable on E-Bay.

Well, the pin outs wouldn't tell me anything. I think s genuine APC cable is $25, which is way too much. However, I ordered one that says is a replacement for $10, including shipping.
