Ethernet wiring problems

I recently made an extension for Ethernet to go to my room. Now the route the cable takes is from the router downstairs all the way upstairs to a female Ethernet connector. However it doesn't work. The wiring itself is fine, I know after testing the resistance on the connectors, but nothing works with the cable itself. Almost nothing. Despite my apple time capsule and windows PC not working, a mid 2012 macbook pro works fine. I am confused. I thought that windows 10 could have been the issue, but now not even the time capsule works.

You really need an ethernet tester and not just a multimeter.
