Ethernet works for a few minutes then stops

I use WiFi and an ethernet cable only when I download things. Every time I go to use the ethernet cable now, it works fine for a few minutes but then says no network access and seems to crash. https://gyazo.com/e32eac5b5cc112602e9aeb4d9d7c992c
I know it isn't the cable because I have tried other ones and the same thing happens. I have reinstalled the ethernet drives but the same thing still happens.

You dont really need both. Otherwise there's no point in having wireless

Give it an ip address and put in the router's ip address as the gateway

The ethernet is much faster but I have to run my cable half way across my house. How would I go about doing what you suggested?

Go into whatever's properties (under network) go into ipv4. Change it to use the follow ip address, you have to put an ip in that's within range of the router/modem youre using. I dont know what the ip address is for yours (to log into it)

It could be a faulty LAN port or stuffed drivers if it disconnects all the time
