Will this be able to run the lastest and greatest games on high detail?
Do I need more watts to run it?
Is this worth the $1000?

Thanks!

or a HD 7970. Same Price, more perfomance and power consumption. But, choose whichever one u like.

doesn't the 660 ti outperform the 7970 in games like BF3 and skyrim? How much difference is there between the 660 ti and 7970 or 7950? % please ?

Nope, since 12.11 the 7970 outperforms the 680 in BF3. I'm also fairly certain the 7970 defeats the 680 in skyrim, don't quote me on that though.

Why spend money on a soundcard, especially when the Z77 chipsets come with 7.1..

Would I be able to spot the difference in RAM speed ? Is it significant?
and how much of a difference is the 660 ti to the 670?

Its probably a little cheaper in the USA 😛

why? was there a driver update or something? Thanks for that 😛, ill use the money that I put towards the sound card for a better GPU, this is my first time building a pc so im bound to over look things.

Yep, 12.11 beta added quite a bit more FPS to alot of games in the Radeon lineup, up the point where the 7970 took the crown in the "coveted" Bf3 (I dunno why people think the graphics are so good in it, they are good but not among the lines of Crysis 2 with MaldoHD).

I recommend 12.11 beta.

Yeah budget soundcards are becoming more and more... useless. Motherboard sound is getting better and better.
