Hi, Last weeks i noticed some bad behavior of my computer, i start to have hard locks sometimes by doing simple tasks like open browser or watch a video. These freezes are related to "Kernel-Processor-Power Event 54 - task 39"
there is no bsod, just went to envent viewer > admnistrative events and every time windows 10 freeze, on the minute of this i found that event 54 kernel power processor
Some information:
i have checked my windows files with SFC and DISM Commands, there is no errors on my installation
i have checked for malware and virus, to be 100% sure there is nothing that can harm and cause the freezing, it's clean
all my drivers are updated (audio/lan/video/etc) and unused stuff like onboard lan and realtek audio are disabled
my processor power saving settings on windows 10 are set to performance, 100% usage all the time
My processor OC is stable, at least was stable until now, i work with 3d rendering and gaming on this machine and never had problems
i also ran memtest and didn't found a single error
i remove my memory sticks from mobo and put they again, because we never know
the temps is fine on both idle or cpu heavy loaded
the oc is stable, like i said i render and gaming on this machine
my computer is:
asrock x99x killer
intel core i7 5820k
16gb ram ripjaws
i don't do any extreme overclocking, i use the uefi 4ghz preset with xmp, i have 100% sure this is a windows thing because i didn´t had these issues too often like i was facing from ~may 2016 to now. Start get some BSOD here and there, now is the hard lock freezes
things what i tried recently:
downgrade uefi to 2.10 firware
upgrade the uefi to 3.02a beta (recomendation of asrock forum moderator)
clear CMOS by change the jumper position
i also joined to insider preview and downloaded the anniversary update to see if i get this fixed
No luck, i really running out of ideas here, i think the only alternative to me is format and do a clean install again...
