Event ID Error 6008

I have a computer that i game on but for the past month whenever i play league of legends my pc shuts down and the event viewer gives the error 6008 but with no task category. what could be the cause of this problem... Overheating maybe?

The problem is it doesn't say the "Critical thermal event" anywhere. Under task category it says none so i have no idea what could have caused this.

If the computer is running fine on desktop but the pc shuts down on games then it might be overheating but do not know why it not saying the Critical thermal event!
