I do not see Event Log is my list of Services, either as running, automatic,
not started,,,,etc.

The service does not appear in any form.

I have upgraded to SP2.

A couple of points on this.

First - The Administrative Tools selection on Control Panel is empty, as is
the selection on start>Programs>Administrative Tools.

However, I can get there by Start>Programs>Accessories>Administrative Tools,
and I can start Event Viewer, but...

When I click on any selection (Application, Security or System), I get a
message stating "Unable to complete operation on
(Application/Security/System). The interface is unknown."

Therefore, wheile I can get to Event Viewer, it has nothing to tell me.

Hi

Can you access Event Viewer or is that unaccessible?
