Ever since the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, my computer has been laggy

Every program I use will lag every 30 to 5 minutes, and I have to wait for it to respond. My computer was fast and doing great before the update. Is there a fix for this, and if not is it possible to remove their update (and their fix update that was supposed to fix it).

I accidentally clicked pick as solution, early. I'll post my specs.

EDIT: Here's my specs:

Windows 10 Home
Manufacturer: Acer
Model: Aspire XC-705
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4170 CPU @ 3.70GHz 3.70GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 4.00 GB (3.81 GB usable)
System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor

yeah this too might be the problem

I'll have to see. My PC doesn't freeze completely, it just freezes for about few seconds to a minute, and it does it often. My PC never does this and usually handles things fast, but after this update installed, it started doing this.

EDIT: Okay, my disk usage did spike up when it froze just a second ago.

I plan to someday, but I can't right now.

If uninstalling the anniversary update and it's fix updates is faster and possible, I'd prefer to do that.

I seem to be able to snap my pc out of its freeze by using ctrl+alt+del. It opens the menu for it pretty fast, then I back out and my computer isn't frozen anymore. Still I'd prefer it if it didn't freeze at all.

EDIT: Okay it only works half the time. When it doesn't work it frozen for a while.

I don't think that's it, my computer has always worked fast without any problem. It wasn't until the "Anniversary Update" that I started having this problem. If you Google "anniversary update problems" you'll see that I'm not the only one. I've seen that one of the problems is the PC freezing up completely, but my computer doesn't freeze completely. I haven't found a solution by Googling it though.
