A friend at work suggested I get this program EVEREST ULTIMATE EDITION VERIOIN 4.20 and run a test on my system to see if all was well...

The only thing I'm a bit wondering is the fact that I bought:

OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
WITH A LATENCY OF 4-4-4-15

And what Everest reads it at is :

DDR2 667 WITH A LATENCY OF 5-5-5-15..

WHAT GIVES?

DID I GET A MISLABLED MEMORY?

I'm running a gigabyte mobo- GA-P35-DS3L

I'VE YET TO DO ANY MOBO BIOS UPDATES....IS THIS A MOBO VOLTAGE ISSUE? OR WHAT? GRRR....

More than likely you have a 1333FSB processor... ill guess...ummm e6750... as by default your motherboard will clock your memory at 1:1 ratio. hence why your rams currently at 667 and the latency of 5-5-5-15 is the standard spec of DDR2 memory. To have the memory run at the correct speed these changes must be done in the BIOS please note to take everything into account otherwise you may end up with no post. Voltage setting, CAS timing and frequency all to spec of RAM should be fine ;)
