Every game I play on the Unreal Engine crashes the engine after ~5 minutes

So a couple of months ago I was playing squad, which I have over 300 hours on and out of no where the game locked up. I alt+tab'd and an Unreal Engine error had come up and I had to force quit the game. This had never happened before so I thought whatever. But this issue persisted to the point where I now can't play squad because it crashes so regularly. But that's not all, I also play rocket league with over 200 hours on it and shortly after the first crash in squad I got locked up while playing rocket league and persisted to the point where I now can't play rocket league. The same thing happened with Rising Storm 2 and most recently Conan Exiles.

Initially I thought this was a problem with my computer. And it was, the SSD was damaged and causing the operating system to slow down and forcing games to crash, needless to say at this time the issue wasnt solely isolated to UE. But I rectified that issue and am able to play far more demanding games like escape from tarkov, warthunder, or R6: Siege for hours on end, on ultra, with no issues what so ever. However, any game I play on the Unreal Engine locks up, and forces me to alt+tab and end process or occasionally hard restart.

I've reset my computer, I've wiped the hard disks, I've updated and clean installed windows 10, and I've completely cleared my graphics card drivers and manually reinstalled them clean. And i've reinstalled all my games from scratch every time. I've done this 3 times. I've been on all the forums and messed around in regedit looking for a solution because I didnt want to believe there was an issue localized to the UE.

But now I'm hear because I've exhausted all other options. The errors range from opengl errors to D3D crashing, to not being able to find a particular file within the engine. And while the errors will happen repeatedly there's no pattern to them. Sometimes I'll be standing still and take a step, sometimes I'll be moving quickly through terrain having to render it quickly, other times I'll be in the menus, or in a graphic intense scenario. But it's anyone's guess when the engine will crash. The only pattern to my issue is that it only happens when playing a game that uses the Unreal Engine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated because right now I'm looking at the engine of games before downloading them to make sure they are not on the UE.

Thanks in advance.

***Its important to note that the error states specifically that the game engine crashes. Audio for the game remains and often I can hear the character walking around.***

Did you replace the SSD or just attempt a repair? As it might still be damaged. But from what your are saying it might not be the root cause of your issues including the older ones, the damaged ssd should only slow down loading times not gameplay as it should be buffered in your memory. How was the ssd damaged? Was it power related as you could be looking at memory/cpu/mobo/gpu issues as well.
