Every time I press "R" on my keyboard my whole PC freezes

In any circumstance - typing in a message box, just pressing it randomly it freezes my PC for a split second and I have no idea what is causing it. I have restarted pc and done virus scans but I have a feeling it is my motherboard.. can someone help?

Have you tried a different keyboard? Or the on-screen keyboard? Maybe it's some kind of macro...

I don't have another keyboard, also I haven't tried the onscreen one yet but I will now - EDIT: it still happens even with the on-screen keyboard.

Do you remember when the problem started happening? Restore your Windows to the time before it started happening. Your last resort is a fresh reinstall.

It seems to be fine after a restart and then as soon as I launch Overwatch it starts happening up until I restart PC again. I went back to windows 7 and it is still occuring

Uninstall overwatch and see if it still happens.... then you will know if it's a setting in the game
