Question Everybody in the call is able to hear everything that I can hear ?

I have an issue where everybody in a given call can hear my entire desktop audio (the louder I hear it, the louder they hear it as well, although they do hear everything a little less loud that I do). I use headphones that have a microphone built in (keep in mind that my computer has two jacks: one for headphones and one for a microphone, according to the signs and I plug it in the 'headphone' jack).

I've tried:

Disabling the 'Listen to this device' option in the device properties in control panel

Disabling the 'What U Hear' device

Setting the Headset (Mic) device (my microphone) to the Default Device and choosing it in Windows Settings

I've also found this in the microphone properties in the control panel:

Does anybody know what the problem could be? Thanks!

Start with the following link:

https://www.cablechick.com.au/blog/understanding-trrs-and-audio-jacks/

Then take a close look at the plugs and ports being used and the overall audio connections (speakers, mics) being used.

Sketch out your system's microphone and speakers physical connections if necessary. Pay attention to TS, TRS, TRRS.....

You can also learn much more about the current audio connections and applicable properties by right clicking the small speaker icon usually located in the lower right screen corner.

A menu should appear and allow to first explore all related hardware and configuration settings. Look first and make some notes.

Go through all Windows, tabs, and properties.

Then if something seems astray or otherwise not as you expect then make a change as appropriate. Change only one thing at a time and keep notes so you can undo some change that did not work.
