I’ve read a lot on this question but still no definitive answer unless I’m blind.
I have just switched from a GTX690 dual 8pin which was running from an 8 pin to dual 6+2 and it looked untidy. Upgraded to an RTX2070 super which as you all know is 8pin and 6pin. I’d rather not have a 6+2 for untidiness As 2 pins will be hanging about so can I just run 8-8pin and A 6-6pin or does it all have to go through one 8pin cable? There’s enough 8 pin slots on the psu to cater for it.
this question usually ends up straying to overheating cables
