I have been eyeing this video card for some time now:

but I got a notice this morning of another Asus 2080 ti that just went on sale for $150 off:

What is everyone's opinion? I am not so sure about the single fan blower versus the strix triple fan cooling. would the single fan be a lot louder? Would it limit overclocking (which I usually do a little bit, but very little). Plan on using it to power the Valve index at as many FPS as it will push so will the cooling be adequate?

I am really digging the price but as I plan to use this system for many years don't want to hinder myself.

You will probably have to spend the money difference in a good cooling solution, so it may not be a bad offer?

How much are water cooling blocks for the 2080ti going for?

Yeah, some of these reference blower-type GPUs do tend to run hot. Get the ROG strix Model.

Thanks for the input. I found A LOT of reviews of people with dead/defective cards, extreme temperatures, and horrible noise. I opted out of that card and attempted to take down my post.
