[SOLVED] Everything as if zoomed in

Hi, everything was fine yesterday. Then when I plugged my laptop with win 10 and 1070 nvidia graphics card in my LG ultra hdtv everything from icons to games were very large.

Resolution is still native 4k, no overscan and options all look correct. Nothing changed as far as I know except installing flash. TV works just fine on blueray. Tried updating drivers, reinstalling them a nd the system restore which failed. Just looks like it's in low resolution but display and nvidia say it's not.

Never had an issue like this, at a loss any ideas?

There is something called scaling that is in Windows....but usually when you go to 4k you use scaling to make things larger not smaller....but it's something to try. Search for scaling in the Windows search bar and it will take you there.

Thanks Jay, I did try scaling but its already at the lowest 100%, also when I play games it's as if the resolution is 800x600 but very sharp image. More demanding games no longer run. Maybe my laptop no longer recognizes my tv?

I'd try powering everything down and then powering the TV up first and then the PC with everything connected.
