Everything but my GPU works apparently?

My will turn on, with the power supply working just fine as well as the CPU and HDD but the thing is.. my GPU may or may not be broken since it will not show anything on my monitor.

Specs just in case something is needed:
GPU: Nvidia GTX 750Ti
CPU: AMD FX-6300
RAM: 8 GB rip jaws gddr3
HDD: Seagate barracuda 1tb
Please help, as anything at this point is useful.

One dumb thing that often saved Graphic cards for me, is to replace the Thermal paste and clean the whole pcb taking care not to touch the metal circuits. Some thermal paste are electrically conductive (Normally not the stock one) and short circuit the...

Has this just happened or is it a new machine you are setting up?
If new make sure the monitor is connected to the graphics card and not the onboard Video and that the graphics card has a power connector from the PSU connected if required (don't think so for a 750Ti but I'm not sure)
 

No it's not new, but unfortunately the motherboard that I purchased had no on-board graphics. Also, I've ensured that everything has been connected properly so I'm not sure that's the issue either.
