Here's my build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/WXdH6h

So everything is connected but when I plugged the computer into the monitor it said no signal. The computer turns on, the fans turn on and lights turn on.
I tried using hdmi and vgi and paid a guy 50$ to come and help me with the problem be he simply said the motherboard is faulty. The man I paid is a professional and he said all the wiring looks good so it has to be the a faulty motherboard. I don't want to believe that the motherboard is faulty because I want to use my computer asap
I've gone through the checklist and tried moving the ram to the other slot aswell
Maybe could it be because I got some thermal paste on the metal square maze looking things around the part were the paste is supposed to go?
Here's what it looks like

Please help

Also, when I plug in my keyboard to the USB port, the lights on my keyboard don't turn on indicating my keyboard is on

Did the screen stop working when you applied new thermal paste?

It doesn't seem likely to me that that's the issue.
Have you tried a different monitor? Because it could be the monitor and not the motherboard.

I would give another monitor a try, or take the screen to another computer to see if it works, (with the same cables you're using.)

Because if it works on another PC, with the same cables, then unfortunately, it's probably a motherboard issue.

Might be your RAM.

Remove and reseat your RAM. Press it in firmly (not too hard) until you hear two distinct clicks.

Make sure your RAM is installed in the correct slots as well (A1 with A2, B1 with B2).
