[SOLVED] everything gone after update

Hi guys my dad is having a problem with his PC and i thought i'd run it passed you before i go over and take a look for him. He says that after he did a windows update a few days ago all his microsoft games are gone and edge and his email program. How would I fix that for him.

Well, check the hard drive for the directories and reinstall them if they're not there.

Thank you, He found Microsoft edge but he says it won't even work. I'll get a better understanding when i go over there. He just kept saying everything is gone.

Sounds like a possible profile corruption causing Windows to generate a temp profile for each login. Start there.

Also look in "Update History".

Type "Update History" in the "Type here to search" box usually located in the lower left screen corner.

A window titled "View your Update history" should appear with an "open" option.
