My pc was completely fine, my mouse was broken and I went and bought a razer deathadder elite chroma. I came home and started everything up, plugged it in but my pc started acting up, nothing was responding, the task bar, desktop, chrome. I had a bluescreen for memory management and I tried restarting. It was laggy again and eventually it stopped booting up. When I turned it on, it showed me the manufacturers logo with the "Press f12 to go to boot menu." The screen goes black after that and when I press the power button it instantly turns off instead of me having to hold it. Occasionally it goes into boot and I can start safe mode, I ran a scan and quarantined 161 threats, nothing changed. I was completely done with all of this nonsense, I was going to wipe my pc, trying to start safe mode nothing wanted to work for me and now every time I start up my pc it asks me to choose a proper boot device and won't let me do anything, I'm getting a new pc in a couple months I just need it to last a while longer. Should I take it in to a shop?

1| When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs like so:CPUHASSIS:
OS:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

2| Can you mention what sort of boot devices options you have when you access BIOS?

3| Speaking of BIOS, you might want to see if you have any BIOS updates pending.

4| If your system is a prebuilt, it'd be a good idea to pass on the make and model as well as the SKU to the system.

If it tells you that there is no boot device then you have a problem with your storage (either SSD or HDD whereever windows is installed).
Open you PC and check the connections of your storage devices and make sure that Power and Data cable is plugged in as it should.

If you can get into Windows then run crystalDisk otherwise you can throw in a ceap 120GB SSD for less then 30$ and install windows on it

My systen is prebuilt but I have changed out a lot since I bought it, my BIOS haven't had updates for years, Ill respond with my BIOS options tomorrow morning, and tbh I'd know my specs if I had access to my pc. If I can get on safe mode ill run speccy and get back to you
