So I was cleaning my keyboard with a PC on when my computer just restarted. Once I've gotten to the desktop, everything was gone. Desktop is clean, taskbar is reset too, my chrome is signed out, but still there, settings are also reset, maybe some more things. Could I have somehow created a new user, even though it doesn't show up in Users settings.

Edit : I found out that I have been logged into a temporary user profile. How could I log back into my main User Profile?

By restarting your computer?
Well, I did not expect it to work this time, because I have already tried restarting earlier but it just got back into the Temp User Profile. But it looks like that restarting it again fixed this. I wonder why did it load me into the Temp User Profile in the first place? Anyway, thank you.

It could be your normal user is corrupt to an extent

What I would do is create a new local user - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...-windows-20de74e0-ac7f-3502-a866-32915af2a34d
  • make it admin
  • open file explorer
  • copy the contents of C:/users/old user folder onto the new user folder, this gives it full access to all files so no need to reinstall anything
  • logon using new user
  • probably need to set up desktop, and a few other things you might have used before like Onedrive

can leave old user there as always handy to have a spare user.
