My computer (about a year old now) recently had a random resolution change and almost all of my programs stopped working. At first I thought it was Skype because my new webcam driver was installed and my videochat wouldn't work and skype started crashing, getting really bad audio quality and then seizing to work. I tried to fix the problem by erasing my settings and uninstalling but now I cant reinstall it, leading me to believe it was not skype, since the problems still persist. The only programs that don't crash on my computer are Google Chrome and some offline prigrams, all other games, and even media players and picture viewers do not work. Crashes such as COM SURROGATE and other things always pop on my screen. Please help!
