everything on my External hard drive gone and hidden !

Hi every one , i need your help please !
i have External hard drive (Transced) 2 TB , 3 USB

828 GB is used, after installing (Kakasoft USB Security) it secured and hided my files , but when i inserted the password it said create password again ! i deleted the software. NOW my hard drive shows empty , but when i hit properties it shows that 828 GB is used.
i uninstalled the program , it did't help

I used Xyplorer to show hidden files but there is no hidden files and foldrs !!!!
i need help please .

about 2 years ago i had a problem it looks like this one and one person send me a program that showed all hiden Hard driver , but i forgot the name of the program , maybe it helps.

Does the software encrypt the files as well? If so that can be an issue

Try using Winrar cause Winrar can see hidden files.(trying to help )

Thanks for your helping
by using recovery software i recovered all of the hiden data
now i (encrypted) my external hard drive with ( bitlocker) so how can i connect it with my TV ? cause when you connect an encrypted hard drive to a tv it shows nothing !

Can't be done with encrypted drives. You have to run an actual PC that runs bitlocker in order to read that drive.
