Hello, for around the same price which is better? The RX 480 or the 1060?

The 1060 is strongly better in any DX11 games, and slightly weaker in DX12 games.

As not many games are DX12 now, and we don't know if it will become mainstream anytime soon i'd recommend the GTX 1060 over the RX480 all the way.

EVGA 1060 SSC or FTW?

They're basically the same, the difference between them is a little bit of factory-overclock, some get a boost of 100Mhz.
It won't affect much the gameplay or FPS, 3 or less FPS so i'd pick the one that looks better to your of fit more adequately on your pocket.
