Hi.

My EVGA 1060 SC 6gb ( the small one with 1 fan ) runs loud and hot.

When playing games my max temps would reach around 80.C - 82.C.

I did not overclock it as there is no point, just change Power target to max ( 130% ) and Temp target to max ( 92.C ), so my base clock stock is 1607MHz and boost 1835MHz, but after power and temp maxed out I do reach max 2012MHz, so GPU boost does it job I guess...

So, yeah, no overclock and runs loud ( 1 fan, I know ) and hot, I think.

The question is;

Is there anything I could buy or do to tackle those problems?

Thinking about Kraken G12, but since card is so small that 92mm fan would be sticking out from my board and VRAM would get hot, right?

Found something like that too:
https://www.amazon.com/ARCTIC-Accelero-Hybrid-Generic-120/dp/B0156R6VPY/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1472766406&sr=8-2-fkmr0&keywords=arctic+gpu+bracket

but few bad reviews on that bad boy, pointing out the same problem, VRAM not cooled...

Anyone have any ideas what could I do?

PS. all that in H440, with 3 ( 120mm ) intake up front, 1 ( 140mm ) exhaust and 2 "exhaust" pushing thru x61 radiator up top...

Cheers!

I would not really recommend putting more money into a midrange card like a 1060.
By the way, that card is overclocked. You raised the power limit in order to reach higher clock speeds.

If thermals are an issue, lower that power limit. I wouldnt expect things like that from a single fan card.
