Evga 1070 question before I buy

Is $250 bucks a good deal on a evga 1070 sc or would the 980ti be a better deal at $270 used to ofcourse. Thx for any info

1070 all the way. It uses less power and is likely "younger" in terms of use.

I had the same question, is the 1070 new and 980Ti used, or are both used?

In any case, the two have roughly the same performance, so I'd definitely go with the 1070 as it has the bonus of being newer and cheaper.

There both used. The guy with the 1070 has 2 but I dont think my cpu i5 6500 or my psu corsair 650 would push them both. So do you think $250 usd is a good price for a used 1070?

Wouldn't buy any used GPU's these days, could have been used for mining... (MORE THAN LIKELY).

Yeah, especially if they have multiples of the GPU - that makes me think it was more likely used for mining.

He sent me pics of the 2 1080ti that he put in there place. He's got a nice watercooled rig. He dose video editing and some games

Got the 1070 and it runs great. Buying used seems to be a good thing $240 for a 1070 seemed good to me. If it goes out I'll post and let ya'll know lol
