[SOLVED] evga 1080TI posts on amd 1950x rig but not 8700k.

I updated the drivers while plugged into amd rig (1950x), then i went back to my i5 rig (was using it to test) and ater updating the drivers it posted... great i thought... so i put my 8700k rig backtogether and pluged the evga 1080ti back in and no post again but will post on AMD.

Perhaps the PSU is to blame? Does the 8700k build post without the GPU?

nope... all started after i restarted my PC about 2 weeks ago. Running RMX 1000x

So it wont boot without the GPU either?

Nothing will come up on screen, leds and fans turn on, no loop, just no post, i even disconnected the cpu power and ssd cables and same thing

First step would be the reset your cmos, if that doesn't work it'll be time to play swap that part with your other builds to figure out what is dead

yup im starting to assume psu as ez decoder flashes between cpu and ram now and everything is connected properly

Borrow one of your other psus to confirm
