Evga 1300w gold psu need help I was recently playing some dying light when I heard some odd sound from my pc I investigated n

Power supply making odd noise when turned fan downwards

I figured out it was the power supply n when facing upwards it doesn't make the sound but fan downwards it does I don't understand this I've only had it for bout a month only use maybe 950wats max plz help !.

Sounds like a fan to me. Return the power supply to where you got it and get a new one OR Do an RMA to the manufacturer.

So should be safe to run on it till I get a new one in a few days right ? I was running it to listen playing videos games with no sound nothing was acting weird just that sound .

Probably, just make sure if you hear the noise stop to check and make sure the fan is running.

Make sure you got airflow. Its key!
