Hi everyone, i have an amd 8370e(i know its crap but its all i have for now), 8gb of ram, 1 Tb hdd and this EVGA 450 b3 PSU. The problem is that i already bought an rx 580 thibking that i have a 500w PSU. What do i do now? Do i really have to upgrade?

Solution
Your CPU draws anywhere from 100-140W under load.
An RX580 could draw as much as 200W under load (much less if you undervolt, my RX480 does 1305MHz @ 110W as reported by GPUz)
~5W for each SSD
~10W for each HDD

Your PSU is new and of decent quality so as long as you're not overclocking the CPU or GPU, I think it will work fine.

From what I've read, the higher watt rated B3 PSUs are pretty good, but the lower ones are not.

I'd recommend getting a better unit, since I have concerns that your existing PSU will hold up to a combo where the CPU and GPU combined alone can pull a little over 300W.
