Will the EVGA 500 BQ run a nvidia geforce gtx 1080? I also heard that you need continuous wattage, but I can't find the spec that shows it? Please help ASAP

You need a better quality PSU than that and 550W min, preferably 650W.

NO, that's not how PSU's work.

They only supply as much power that is actually needed.

You could put a 1000w PSU in there and wouldn't make any difference...
