I was wondering I have a thermaltake smart 600w 80 plus and I know it's not a good psu but i was wondering if going for an EVGA 500 bq 80+ Bronze would be considered as an upgrade? I want my pc to be futur proof but is it worth losing 100w for a better psu ? I have an i3-9100f with a 1650 super and i want to upgrade to a i5-9600k and a 2070 super. Thanks
The EVGA BQ is not much of an upgrade over the Thermaltake Smart. Try Corsair CX550. Still not optimal but easily better than the other two. For the price of a 2070S you may soon be able to get the new 3070 which will tell the 2070S to hold its beer. You'll probably want a CX650 for the 3070.
