Hello everyone!

Quick question here: what is the difference between the EVGA 560 Ti SuperClocked (with dual fan) and the EVGA 560 Ti DS SuperClocked (also, with dual fan)?

I've compared the specs and there's only 3 real differences I can see:

1. One is called DS. The other is not.

2. The DS has a "limited lifetime" warranty (cause of the AR suffix). The other one has a 3 year warranty (cause of the KR suffix). Source: http://www.evga.com/support/warranty/

3. The DS one is about $ 20 more expensive (shipping included).

Anything else that I'm missing? Or is this just another marketing trick ("let's add a DS in the name and ask more $ for it!")

Thanks in advance! 😀

I can't see any technical specs that are different between the 2 cards.I think your right in that they are just named differently. If both of the cards are actually both the same in tech specs then i'm thinking you pay $20 more for the lifetime warranty.

But if your paying that much for a GTX560ti I would strongly urge you to go with an ASUS or MSI card. Both of these cards offer way better cooling which means you can achieve a higher O.C. and will last longer.

They are both priced the same as the EVGA but much better in my...
The lack of responses makes me conclude that indeed those are the only 3 real differences between the DS and the non-DS models... :/

I guess for a lot of people a "limited lifetime" warranty would be worth the extra $ 20 bucks and the DS on the name, am I right?

They are both priced the same as the EVGA but much better in my opinion. The MSI version has Free Shipping.

The "DS" stands for Dual-Slot, as in Dual-Slot cooling. It cools a little better, otherwise it's the same internally. It should SLI just fine with a non-DS, otherwise identical card.
